Hello everybody ^^ So a little while ago I ordered some things from My Korean Store (http://mykoreanstore.myshopify.com/) and I thought it would be fun to do a review about it because I haven’t seen many/any and you might wonder what it is like there ^^The picture above is of the textbooks which I ordered, and I also ordered a book about writing Hangul, and a big poster of Hangul combinations! The poster is really lovely, and it has sparklies on it! Hehe :D They were really quick in dispatching the stuff and the textbooks came in bubblewrap bag envelope things, the poster was in a hard tube! They were really nice too even though my Dad managed to ignore an email for 2 weeks asking for information they needed to dispatch it…!!! Hehe xD
The only downside here was that the books were both marked with a value of $50 each, and in actuality I paid around $20 and $11 per book! (Plus postage) So I was lucky not to attract customs charges because of this. I wished it had said the true value and not a higher one! The textbooks actually came via Parcelforce, which I was really surprised at, and it only took a week! The other things were by Royal Mail normal post.
The textbooks are really great, they both came with audio CDs and one of them has like a supplementary thing explaining further about grammar and things like that, as well as some translations of keywords and stuff! There aren’t any romanization or really any English translations in the main textbook so I would suggest getting a bit familiar with Hangul first, but I’m OK with this because I have already been going through a ‘Korean For Beginners’ book!
They are aimed at classroom use so there are some suggested activities I’m having to not do, or rope members of my family into doing with me, but this doesn’t take away from the book as a home-learner! I can still get the idea of what they were supposed to teach and then adapt them for myself ^^
They seem to be better than any other books I can find on Amazon in terms of learning and how far they cover (there are more in the series!) so I would recommend this muchly! I have quite a lot of the other Korean learning books from Amazon, they are also good but they are only really at the beginner level.

Thank you for the good review! :D
